Private Training
Private lessons
Private lessons are available for those owners who wish to work with their dogs with the regular guidance of a professional dog trainer. We range from Basic Obedience to Advance Obedience and also behavioral issues. Trainers will meet with owners for about an hour at your home. Teaching owners to understand the problem and teaching them to work with their dog is part of what makes the training program successful. Private lessons are a great and reliable option for addressing problem behaviors, as long as the owner is able to be consistent with the training. Our programs are customized to each individual dog and their owner, as no two dogs are alike, each problem may stem from a different source. Understanding the behavior and what is causing it is the first step to a successful outcome in your training.
Puppy Training Packages
When you bring a new puppy into your home, it is natural to be excited – you have selected a dog who will grow into a valued family member in next to no time! Your puppy will undergo some critical developmental milestones in their first year. Working with your puppy during this time is vital. For example, making sure they are enjoying positive socialization outings, and teaching them basic obedience commands, will truly set your puppy up for success for the rest of their life. It will also improve your own quality of life. These building blocks for your dog’s behavior at an early stage will reduce the likelihood of future behavioral problems and will consequently reduce your own stress and frustration. Along with other factors, your puppy’s early experiences will have a significant impact on their development. We offer two types of puppy classes – our Basic Obedience Puppy Class and the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program.
Basic Puppy Training
This program consists of 6 weeks, you and your puppy will learn the following commands:
Sit
Down
Stay
Heel
Recall
Place
Leave It
Your puppy will also get the opportunity to socialize in a controlled setting, under the supervision of one of our professional trainers.
AKC The Star puppy Program
This program consists of 8 weeks of training and provides you with valuable information and essential training tips and is a great steppingstone if you intend to pursue the AKC Canine Good Citizen title. The S.T.A.R. Puppy Program teaches dog owners about responsible ownership and the importance of regular activity and socialization. Your puppy can be enrolled in the S.T.A.R. Puppy Program at any point before their first birthday.
AKC Certification Packages
Our AKC Standard and Advance packages are conducted by our AKC certified evaluators. We know that each dog is different and learns at a different pace, so we offer these packages as private individual training. Our training packages allow our trainers an opportunity to work with our customers on a one-on-one basis and to observe the dog in its natural environment. Our trainers meet with you in different locations each week and work with your dog for 1-2 hours during each session. These training sessions will involve focused training exercises, walks in the neighborhood and socialization exercises when necessary. This session will also give the dog owners an opportunity to ask questions about the training and get advice on how to maintain the training and good behaviors that have been instilled in each session.
STANDARD PACKAGE (5-6 WEEK TRAINING)
The AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program provides a perfect framework for training your dog to become a polite member of society.
The 10 test items on the CGC test are practical, functional behaviors that every dog should have to be welcomed in the community.
ADVANCE PACKAGE (3-4 WEEK TRAINING MUST HAVE COMPLETED CGC)
The AKC Community Canine is the advanced level of the AKC"s Canine Good Citizen program. AKC Urban CGC requires that the dog demonstrate CGC skills and beyond in a setting that includes traffic, crowds, noises, smells, and other distractions that are present in a city or town. As with Canine Good Citizen, AKC Urban CGC is a 10-step test of skills that dogs must pass to earn the official AKC Urban CGC title. This is a title that appears on the dog’s title record at AKC.
Obedience Packages
SPECIALTY PACKAGE
There is nothing wrong with taking it back to the beginning, Basic skills are reintroduced and behavioral concerns that have become a problem are worked on and must importantly you will be taught how to manage these behaviors.
ADVANCE OBEDIENCE PACKAGE (10 WEEK TRAINING)
This plan consists of Correcting and improving behavioral issues such as reactivity, possessiveness and self-confidence, jumping on guests, create training and potty training. Once your dog receives their graduation certification, they will need to be re-evaluated in 1 year.
Group Training Packages
We offer you 4 types of Group Training classes (Puppy, Basic, Intermedial and Advanced group classes) that will help you and your furry companion learn from basic skills all the way to advance obedience in group setting. Each level is different and challenging. Group classes offer so many benefits for you and your dog! They are a great way to learn a variety of dog training skills, and also offer vital socialization for your pup. Our group classes are a great way for you and your dog to socialize with new people and other dogs. These courses are held weekly and last for about an hour. Our group classes run for six consecutive weeks from the date that they begin unless otherwise indicated.

This plan includes AKC Certifications plus support work training necessary for an Emotional Support Animal (ESA). Once your dog receives their certification, they will need to be re-evaluated in 2 years.
Service Dog training (1 year training)
Service Dog with AKC Urban certification and C.L.A.S.S. Program
This plan includes AKC Certifications and C.L.A.S.S program plus the task work necessary for a Service Dog. Once your dog receives their certification, they should remain under training and be consistently evaluated to remain in peak performance.
