 With the help of Sofia's Dog Training, my White Lab, Jack, went from an uncontrollable 2-year-old to a well behaved 2-year-old.
Adolfo is a great handler of dogs, knowledgeable, PATIENT, and makes you think he is training the dog, but in reality, he is training YOU how to handle your dog.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience and love my dog even more.

I began the search for my third service dog at age 80. My particular disability requires that I start with a puppy who grows up knowing only me and my issues. In addition, I wanted to get a Bahamian Potcake. Every trainer said I was making a mistake, and that at my age, I would not be able to control him. That Potcakes were too excitable, distractable and from wild stock; but I knew that they were also loving, with strong attachment to their owner.  I chose a 10-week-old Potcake, Skipper, who was all of the above, with everyone telling me "He will never be a service dog." A client of Sofia's put me in contact with them and they immediately stepped in. Everyone knows that trainers don't really train the dog but they train the owner/handler. The important thing about Sofia's and Adolfo is his ability to go beyond the obvious and see where both dog and owner are at emotionally, physically, and psychologically and personalizes that training to match their ability, attachment levels and needs. I now have the perfect service dog, the one they said couldn't be trained, the one who saved my life already, not once but twice. There is no one better than Sofia's dog training.

 Very knowledgeable and professional they are currently working with me and my labradoodle to build a strong cohesive team. Ronnie is being trained as my mobility service dog and has learned a lot from working with Adolfo who is great to work with. I would highly recommend this company and Trainer to anyone looking for someone to train with your dog with you to become a service dog.

 Words cannot express just how helpful and professional this organization is. Adolfo is always on time and always listens to everything you have to tell him before he jumps into training. We have seen significant improvements in both of our dogs in a short period of time and it would not have been possible without Adolfo's help.  Great trainer and loves working with people and their dogs.  My dog has some behavioral issues we are working on together and after just a few short weeks I saw a noticeable difference in Tucker.  I am learning how to read my dog and most importantly staying calm in challenging situations.
